Desay SV Europe has opened its first office in France today. The branch is located in Guyancourt, southwest of Paris, not far from Versailles and close to the Renault Technocenter and the Stellantis sites in Poissy and Vélizy. The official opening was attended by the President & CEO of the Desay SV Group Dapeng Gao, the Managing Director of Desay SV Europe Dr. Michael Weber and the head of the Guyancourt branch Sylvain Amour, among others. The guests included automotive customers and business partners.
Close to customers
“We want to be near to our customers to ensure close collaboration, the shortest possible paths and the best possible support,” said Sylvain Amour in his opening speech. Four experienced automotive specialists currently work in the 160 square meter office, managing new business, customer care and technical support. The number of employees is set to grow to 10 by the end of 2025. The office offers open and closed workspaces as well as a large meeting room with a selection of the latest antenna and electronic solutions from Desay SV. These include cameras, displays, electronic control units and charging devices.
Expansion in Europe
“We are on course for expansion in Europe,” said Dr. Michael Weber in his speech. “Over the past two years, we have already strengthened our competence and presence in Germany with a series of investments. The official office opening near Paris marks another milestone in our growth and expansion plans.” Further offices are to be opened in Europe over the next 12 months. For example, in Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic, Gothenburg in Sweden and Wolfsburg in Germany. The company is also planning to expand production in Europe. Antenna and infotainment solutions are currently produced or final assembled at two locations in Weimar.
