Desay SV Europe today officially opened an office in Mladá Boleslav, about 50 kilometers northeast of Prague. The branch is located very close to the headquarters of the Czech car manufacturer Škoda. Škoda has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group since 1990. The official opening was attended by the office manager Hynek Kodrik, the CPO of Škoda Karsten Schnake, the Managing Director of Desay SV Europe Dr. Michael Weber and the Head of Sales & Business Development of Desay SV Europe Florian Rast, among others.
Optimal customer service
“We have a long-standing, trusting partnership with Škoda. Thanks to the office, we can react quickly at any time and provide Škoda with optimum support,” said Hynek Kodrik in his opening speech. The office, which covers around 190 square meters and is spread over two adjoining buildings, currently employs 8 people, including experts in sales, product and project management. The office consists of several work and meeting rooms and offers space for up to 18 employees.
Expansion in Europe
“We are expanding in Europe,” said Dr. Michael Weber, Managing Director of Desay SV Europe, in his speech. “Over the past two years, we have already strengthened our expertise and presence in Germany with a series of investments.” Florian Rast, Head of Sales & Business Development at Desay SV Europe, added: “We are now initiating a new phase of our growth and expansion strategy by opening offices across Europe in close proximity to our customers. Our new branch in Guyancourt, southwest of Paris, made the start in mid-May. We are now officially opening our second office in Mladá Boleslav. Plans for the opening of further locations are in full swing. For example, in Gothenburg, Sweden, and in Wolfsburg, Germany. We also want to expand production in Europe beyond the two existing plants in Weimar.”
