Promotion of the regional economy

The initiative Erfurter cross (IEK) had invited on 22 November to the bi-annual meeting of members and interests after Arnstadt into the hotel park city brewery. This invitation was accepted by numerous representatives from the member companies as well as the management of the antenna technology. The Initiative Erfurter Kreuz e.V. is an association of currently 100 companies that have settled at and around the industrial area Erfurter Kreuz. The IEK represents about 13,100 employees and 600 apprentices through its member companies. The purpose of the association is to promote the economy in the region around the Erfurt Cross and at the same time to further develop the business location nationally and internationally.

Networking with other companies

The antenna technology had filed an application for membership in October and was welcomed as the 100th member company on 22.11. at the general meeting. The chairman of the board of IEK, Franz-Josef Willems (EPC Engineering & Technologies GmbH, Arnstadt) was particularly pleased about the further growth of technology companies and offered active assistance in networking with other companies in the region as well as support in the area of skilled workers. As a technology company whose main focus is on the development and production of antenna systems and control units for networked communication, antenna technology is offered a wide range of networking opportunities in various areas through this association of companies, thus strengthening the Weimar location.
